Kids Kamp

Kid's Kamp

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

July 6th to August 14th

Returning again this summer, Hellene Glaser and Jodi Hall will be leading Camp and providing exciting activities for children of all ages. Together they have over 30 years’ experience working with children. We believe camp provides an opportunity for outdoor exploration, growth and increased self-esteem. It is our goal to create an outdoor environment that allows children’s creativity to shine through while having fun! In addition to the theme activities, there will be a variety of others including arts and crafts (Shrinky Dinks & melted beads are back by popular demand), water balloon toss, ducky races, water bucket brigade, and much more outdoor fun.

Week 1 (July 6th – 10th) – Theme:  Party in the USA

Celebrating America’s favorite pastimes by competing in a potato sack race, refreshing watermelon-eating contest - Good old fashion fun in the sun!

  • Week 2 (July 13th – 17th) – Theme: Super Soakin’ Water Week

Welcome to the wettest week of summer. Wear your swimsuits and prepare to get soaked. Take a ride on our slip ‘n’ slide, be the best with bucket brigades and cannot leave out the water balloon contest.  Remember to bring your water squirting devices.

  • Week 3 (July 20th – 24th) – Theme:  Treasure Hunters
Action packed activities that will fascinate the adventurer within the paths of L’Arbre Croche.  Nothing typical about buried treasures and adventure-themed relay races.

  • Week 4 (July 27th – 31st) – Theme:  Goin’ G re e n

Using every day materials and turning them into objects with a purpose. See how recycled items are reused.  The creativity is endless!

  • Week 5 (Aug 3rd – 7th) – Theme:  Crayola Crazy

Crayola materials are not just for school. Inventing new colors, making crayons, creating a 3 dimensional creation out of crayons are only a few of the many masterpieces planned. Let the inner artist shine!

  • Week 6 (10th – 14th)   – Theme:  Best of the Best

Favorite games, songs, activities and adventures from the summer. Something fun for everyone, including our favorite TIE DYE on the last day!  Be sure to bring a white shirt.

Camp is held three times a week and provides children with both fine and gross motor activities. Kids’ Camp is held under the tent adjacent to the maintenance area & next to the playground.  Beverages and snacks are provided for the children.
